I am going to purchase a S&W M&P 9 Shield Plus or the Performance Center Shield Plus. Dos anyone have both the regular Shield Plus and the Performance Center Shield Plus? Can you tell me if you feel the difference in the triggers?

I no longer have the PC version which has a very smooth and easy trigger pull. I do have the standard shield plus, trigger pull is a bit more stronger but in my mind tolerable and shootable. They are both quality firearms and will serve you well. To answer your question, indeed, they do feel different when comparing them side by side. Hope this helps you...

The difference is minimal. The PC versions have a bit more crisp of a break. The non PC versions typically have a little bit of creep before the break. I only notice a difference when slowly pulling the trigger, such as when trying to get small groups at distance or when dry firing.

The real difference between the Performance Center and non-Perfomance Center versions is the porting which slightly softens the recoil impulse. For a carry gun, there are some strong arguments to not carry a ported gun.

During rapid fire, such as in a defensive scenario, effectively there is no realistic difference between the triggers.

More than anything, your grip structure and body mechanics will be the determining factors and not the nuance features of the gun.
