i love my 40c i really do. except for the trigger.you see before getting this weapon i was a glock shooter for .............forever. and i hated my glock triggers. then alas came the ghost 2.5lb disconnector. i bought one for every glock i own, which haha is a lot.

question is. is there a drop in disconnector or trigger bar i can purchase for my .40c that will remove a lot of the trigger travel, and break the 5.5lb down to around 3 or 2lb?

i love my gun but in shooting i feel as im waiting to hit the sweet spot, and its throwing off my aim. i like a more..tactical setup if you will

I like the trigger on my M&P .40. I tried aftermarket stuff on my Glocks, and it made the trigger mushy.

You get what you pay for! It's money well spent!

It took me a while to do it, I also had an issue with shelling out another $100.00, but I'm telling you it's like night and day. Best money I have ever spent.

It is a major improvement on the trigger set up, easy to install and the gun is transformed into an extension of your hand. Point and shoot. I was real good with the stock set up, now I'm down right dangerous.

Lots of posts raving about apex.

Good luck, and safe shooting.

I love my apex DCAEK setup. Well worth the money. If you want a lower trigger pull look at the competition kit tho

jesus christ thats pricey . they really want $94? my ghost drop in cost $19

Stop whining.... :D You have 5-6 guns under your signature, so it ain't like you're broke. You also don't sound stupid, so I suspect you knew something about your M&P before you bought it... now lets get to what you really want.. a short trigger pull at about 3lbs... That requires you to purchase the TSS kit from APEX, at a cost of about $150. It's a complete new trigger assembly with springs, etc.. It will give you exactly what you want .. maybe. Just bare in mind,it will never be a Glock. So if that is what you are really looking for, sell the M&P and buy another Glock.. Also bare in mind, when you lose the trigger take up, you lose any of the built in safety..

You may save a couple bucks by replacing only the sear and striker block, and "not" the trigger spring that comes as part of a kit. The trigger spring is meant to increase (not decrease) the trigger pull, and since you like a light one, . . .. I'm guessing mine to be at 4lbs. The sear alone lightens the trigger pull, but I feel that the striker block is a "must have," it really smooths things out, and I see no reason why S&W didn't build there's that way to begin with.
Best of luck with it!
