Greetings!

I'm using my new S&W Shield Plus Performance Center 4" for USPSA (production) matches, and contemplating getting a standard Shield Plus that is optics ready for USPSA Carry Optics.

I haven't visited the LGS yet to handle the Shield Plus OR, so I have no idea on the trigger. For those that have fired a standard Shield Plus and a Performance Center model, how do the triggers compare? Note, both pistols have the flat faced trigger.

As always, thanks in advance for your help!

I have two Perf Center Shield Pluses and a standard Shield Plus with optic cut.

The trigger on the standard model is still good, just a little heavier. I used to have a way to measure the trigger pull, so I know my PC models break between 3.25 and 3.5 pounds. I cannot measure the standard Shield Plus, as it is the newest...

But, in shooting the gun, you won't notice much difference. It is just a little heavier.

No, I prefer the PC trigger, but they all shoot the same
