Trijicon tough and bright on Shield?

I’m thinking about trying these. I’ve had the Trijicon HD. The big front sight seemed to obscure the target. What says y’all?

I've used the Trijicon standards for 20+ years and I've found their customer service to be second to none. I'm in the final stages of sending all of my older Trijicon sighted slides back to them to have them re-lamped. Great perk that adds tremendous value to their product. Getting older means that I have been installing their HD sights on my newer guns and I have not found them to hamper accurate shots out to 25 yards, but they sure do help for rapidly picking up and aligning the front sight for "flash" sight pictures.

Check out the HD XR, they have a thinner front sight I believe.
