I'm wondering if any of you are having this same problem with the online Smith & Wesson Sigma Store (www.smithandwessonsigma.com)?

I ordered the Laser Sight and Rail Combo for my 40VE and paid for it via PayPal on May 23. I received an email confirmation saying it would be shipped to my address (which was correct).

However, the package has not arrived as of today, two weeks later. And 4 phone calls and 4 emails during the past week have gone unanswered. Always just an answering machine.

Luckily, I have recourse through PayPal, but what's up with these guys? Anybody know? I've seen the Smith & Wesson Sigma Store recommended on this site. Is this total lack of communication their SOP? Am I wrong to be alarmed?

did you ever get a tracking number? this ICG - Internet Cash Group Partners is a division of NETSEL INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION which seems to run the sigma store site. Maybe you could try to get to point A by going through point b.Micheal Brown

Negative on the tracking number. There was no further communication or response from the Smith & Wesson Sigma Store after the initial email receipt on 23 May.

Thanks for the connection to ICG. However, I gotta say it reflects really badly on the Smith & Wesson Sigma Store that anyone should have to jump through a bunch of hoops like that. How can they expect anyone to trust them and do business with them?

It's a very simple transaction. I ordered through their website. They took my money: where's my stuff? If there's a problem (backorder or whatever) how hard is it to answer the phone or email me back?

i ordered the same thing around may 15th. they sent an email about a week and a half ago saying it was on backorder but it should be shipped soon. pretty crappy i know but should be worth the wait.

I am having same problem with same site ordered holster 4-23-2011 bakordered to be shipped 5-17 2011 then nothing no answer to phone messages or emails

I just got a refund through PayPal from Netsel, the company that handles the Sigma Store's $$. I had to file a claim for "non-receipt of goods" with PayPal to prompt the refund, and I've still had no direct communication from Netsel or the Smith & Wesson Sigma Store about the problem with the order.

still waiting on my laser. going to email them again shortly and if nothing changes ill just have to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. i just cant believe that the company is bein so shady.

Yeah, it's hard to believe they're being shady, especially with a bunch of GUN owners. Hope they don't get shady with a permanently pissed-off member of the Curmudgeon Corps!

BTW, I ordered the laser from the Ebay link in post #5 above. They emailed me a tracking number the very next day. The laser hasn't arrived, so I'm not sure it's really the same for half the price, but at least they do online business the right way.

Hope you get your $$ back w/o problems.

Alright! My red laser sight and rail mount adapter just arrived from Apple Harbor Trading Co. via Ebay (post #5 above). Here's what came: an NcStar Standard Tactical Weaver Rail Laser Sight and a Laserlyte Rail Mount Adapter for the Sigma, both new in original packaging. Total cost: $29.95 plus $4.85 for USPS First Class shipping. I ordered on Tuesday evening and the package arrived today (Saturday). Nice!

Everything installed easily, the batteries work, quality seems excellent. Can't wait to go shooting and see...

from what you can tell so far it works great? no flaws? good distance available? that sounds like a sweet deal. if i dont have my laser from the sigma store by the time my ccw arrives im going to grab the one from ebay.

Yes, Dodge Sigma, right out of the package, everything seems to fit right, hold tight and work perfectly. The dot seems very bright indoors, and visible outdoors up to 25 yards or so against a light background. The seller lists the specs on Ebay (whereas the Sigma Store had no info).

That said, it is my first laser sight - I got it for home defense only and, frankly, doubt (hope) that I never have to actually use it for real. If I did, I can't imagine I'd shoot more than a few rounds. And I don't carry. So I couldn't see spending big bucks on the sight. Truth is, I'm most concerned about shelf life of the batteries.

There may be better choices if your odds of needing it are higher. Maybe there are comparo discussions on other threads.

Hope this helps...

I dont know for sure, but...... I recon the smithandwessonsigmastore/.com is in NO Way affiliated with the Smith & Wesson we know & love.

Pics?

Can anyone post pictures of this laser installed on their Sigma? And a quick review would be sweet..FYI I believe this set up is also available on amazon.

I'll be happy to post pics of the Harbor Trading setup I got from Ebay - after I get back home on 6/23. Meanwhile, my wife loves the point-and-shoot aspect of the laser. Just put the dot on what you want to hit and pull the trigger.

Sorry for the delay in posting these of the $29.95 Harbor Trading NcStar Standard Tactical Weaver Rail Laser Sight and Laserlyte Rail Mount Adapter setup, but here they are if they're still of interest.
