TruGlo Holographic Red Dot

The Truglo is a very nice sight but doesn't look like it belongs on the 15-22. Primary Arms makes several sights that perform well and look great plus they have mounts that will co-witness.

I am not sure what your budget is but might wanna take a look at the Vortex Strike Fire. Its what I currently have on my M&P15 and it does co witness nicely.

No but I use the open version of that sight on my speed competition 15-22. Co-witnessing is over-rated. Once you use a red dot unless your battery goes dead you never use the iron sights again. If you have flip up sights just leave them down. If fixed ones take them off as they get distracting.

That's what I have on mine and I like it. Co-witnesses right out of the box. I like the two choices of color and multiple choices of reticle.

I do have the Vortex Strikefire and I already have it zeroed on my .556 so I'm looking at a not so expensive one for the 15-22 since I mostly shoot it @25 yds indoors.

@dawgfan76....would it be possible for you to post a pic of it mounted on your rifle? Do you have the Magpul BUIS too? Tnx

I have that optic and have used it on my AR before I got my XPS. It is now mounted on a 45* mount on my 15-22 and I love it. It does co-witness if you want that. It is a great optic that has been very durable and accurate. For the price you can do a lot worse.

How did it fare on your AR? Did it hold zero? It would be nice if it does....I can mount it 45 deg beside my 1-4x24 scope. Tnx
