Not sure if this is the correct category. I hate "what is it worth" posts. But I am trying to determine a fair market value for 2 sets of Aircrewman grips. The K are decent except for small chip at top of horn on right panel. The J Baby Aircrewman set is pretty nice. I would like to offer them here before I put them on fleabay.IMG_7507.webpIMG_7510.webpIMG_7513.webp

The "Aircrewman" was simply an early M&P Air-weight that would later become the Model 12. It had an aluminum cylinder. Those are the same as would have been found on the commercial M&P Air-weight revolvers of the early 1950s. They will fit Model 12 revolvers through the 12-3. I would say $50-100. Someone would need to want them pretty bad to pay the the $100. The chip out of the right stock detracts from the value quite a bit.

There are a lot of Model 12s that need original stocks!

I have a couple of the air weight M&Ps. The Air Force medallion instead of SW medallion is the only difference to my knowledge.

And one is a J frame for the even rarer baby air crewman. Which was basically a pre 37 with alloy cylinder.

The USAF medallion grips were only used on the earliest prototype guns, both 5 shot and 6 shot. There are very few survivors—probably less than a dozen each. So, the grips are quite rare but perhaps not extremely valuable since there aren't any guns I know of that need them. Are they numbered?

Yes both are numbered. IMG_7514.webpIMG_7509.webp
