Shot some today in a midrange 357 mag with a158 grain cast swc pushed by alliant sport pistol. About 1000 fps. They were totally reliable in a 686 with all factory springs in double and single action . My 2020 colt python had some light strikes in double action but not in single action mode. My old model 66 I purchased in about 1984 had a couple of light strikes in double action but I need to correct some cylinder endshake in that gun so l might have excessive headspace or maybe years ago I may put in a reduced power mainspring?
Bottom line:

Like most foreign primers they seem to be a little hard just test in individual gun.

For those that care I purchased a few thousand at 69.99 per thousand plus shipping. I really did not need them as learned about primer shortages in the 1990s and have always stocked up in times of plenty but I like to experiment and hope we have alternatives in the future to the old monopoly brands.

Thanks dogdoc. I'm not "short" on small pistol primers, but I wouldn't mind some more. These are starting to look attractive to me.

Shot some more 357 mag with zsr primers. Tightened the mainspring on my old 66 and it was 100 percent along with the previous mentioned 686, both in double action. 2020 python continued light strikes in double action. All guns 100 percent single action. May shoot a couple hundred 9mm in autos today. 2020 pythons seem to be federal primer guns.
