Just saw this terrible news about two Alaska State Troopers who had been featured in episodes of the show in past years.

I'm sure those of you who, like me, watch this show and feel a kinship and affinity with the troopers, join me in expressing deepest regret and sympathy to these fine troopers' families.

Man, I hate to hear this for a lot of reasons.

My second son starts college this fall. He wants to study criminal justice.

We watch and enjoy that show. I've often wondered about the safety of those that had to go to those remote little villages. That is being a police officer and a whole nother level. dangerous in the extreme.

This is a tragic,senseless waste, and I predict (hope) that some changes will be made to further secure the safety of those brave and dedicated troopers.

Rest in Peace Gents. I did see these guys on a couple shows i was able to catch. These gents were good models of how some I knew in Law Enforcement who I worked with, SHOULD have learned from.
