Tyler t grips?

Their web site says it was last updated June 5th.

So, I'm guessing they are still OPEN...........

Give them a call: PHONE NUMBER: 405-625-4992

I do know they have been very busy the past few years; maybe they still are.

Mailed in my order about a week before the tornadoes hit the OKC area. I just called the listed phone number and got their answering machine, so I guess they survived the twisters. I requested they give me a callback to advise me when I could expect my Tyler T grip to arrive.

I ordered one from them about 2 months ago. As I recall, I received it 3 weeks or so after I mailed them a check.

Tyler 2

I ordered one from them about 2 months ago. As I recall, I received it 3 weeks or so after I mailed them a check.

Me too. But there is a thread on this forum that says they suffered tornado damage and had to move the shop. Damaged or lost their home, too.

I sent a check to them about three days before they were hit by tornados. I know they have to be swamped with business restart, personal loss of property, etc. So, I'm ready to just write the check off and try again some other time.

Finally got my order from them after 3 1/2 months

In January, I placed and order for two Tyler T's for two of my S&W wheelguns. The check was cashed quickly and weeks went by with no delivery of the product. I left several emails and phone calls with NO response and was frankly considering contacting the State Attorney General's office in Oklahoma when "low and behold" a package arrived in my mailbox with the ordered items! I think it was about 3 1/2 months from order to delivery!

Mine came after about a 3-4 month Delay

My order was for a Ruger Security Six. I understood up front that it would take considerable time. After my check was cashed I basically forgot that I had ordered them. However, after about 3-4 months they came in the mail. I was a little disappointed that the attachment system was merely the bending of two flexible metal tabs onto the front grip frame. The ones I bought for my Md. 49 Bodyguard back around 1980 attached via an allen type set screw.

I would love to have 34 pair BUT I am not going to play the games.....no credit cards.....won't return calls.......3-4 MONTHS to ship. I understand 12-18 months ago they changed hands but this isn't the way to keep customers happy.

I ordered 2 in January, when their web site said backlogged and gave an estimated ship date. I got it about 6 weeks past the estimate (total about 10 weeks.)

I liked them so much that I ordered 2 more in April, after their web site was updated indicating that all were in stock. These came in about 10 days.

I hesitated the second time, but after seeing auction items selling for 3x the cost, I decided to just wait awhile. From all I've heard, even at worst they eventually DO fill all orders.

Mailed my check to Tyler and it was cashed April 14th. I've since spoken to "JR" twice. He asked for my patience, as he is working essentially by himself. He says he cant get any young people who want to work. Forget leaving a phone message or email. Then, the tornados. (oy vey). Anyway, I'm still waiting, but hoping not much longer. I support what the guy is trying to do by carrying on the family business, and I'd rather wait for a good ol American made product if I have too.

I've sent JR 2 emails in the last couple of weeks after reading about his tornado damage on his website. No response at all from him. I think I'll hold my order until I find out if he is back in business.

I sent in an order about 3 weeks before the tornado. I knew about all the delivery and poor service issues, and figure if my T grip ever shows up it's a bonus, but I don't have any hope that it actually will. Kind of the equivalent of buying a few lottery tickets, it's fun to dream.
