I don't know how many seasons may be in the can, but Netlix recently posted the 2nd season.

Focuses on an Irish immigrant detective in NYC's notorious Five-Points region(think 'Gangs of N.Y.') during the Civil War. You could call it NYPD Blue, set a bit over 100years back in time. Cast is little known, at least here in the US, which makes it easier to embrace the characters and story.

Anyone else enjoying this one?

Watched it since the first episode. They really do their homework about living conditions and lifestyle in that era. Gave me a real jolt to see them take buckets to the pump located somewhere in the neighborhood for water.

WR Moore, I agree with you. However, their adventure in the last episode really "jumped the shark", so far as I am concerned. Booth's on the run, over a thousand miles away, and they call upon the gimp Major in NYC? PUllllllllllleasssssssssssse. Just couldn't suspend my disbelief enough for that.

Sure left you danglin' with a couple of big cliffhangers, also. It really bites when they cancel a show without any attempt at SOME sort of closure, or wrap-up. The last episode of Miami Vice seemed choppy, and abrupt. But in watching the last few episodes in a row, you could see how the ending could've come about as it did.
