Hi guys, thought I'd sign up after gaining some interesting information from the site over the last year or two. Kept meaning to join but never got round to it sadly before. Time has run away it seems.
So as it states, I'm a U.K. shooter & as you know we have some unique laws shall we say! I'm a 15-22 shooters for what we call mini rifle, & it's the rifle of choice for our 3 Gun events. Reason being (again "unique" laws) we can only have a .22 lr as a semi auto. I can have a 12 round 12g shotgun but only a .22 lr semi auto!!! Crazy eh!
Anyway, full disclosure, I'm the owner of a company that makes 3 Gun accessories for mainly our market so stuff may not be of use to you guys. Just didn't want to hide that fact & always better being open from the off as they say.
The 15-22 has been very popular in the U.K. but always over priced, there's a new distributor though who has lowered prices but they're still insane to what you guys pay. However, as I say I shoot a Gen1 MOE FDE & love it, had a few things changed such as extractor, charging handle, ambi safety, BAD style lever, barrel shortened to 12' (UK minimum length), plus a few of our accessories to make it ready for our competitions.
I hope to make some new friends from across the pond & hope to share the experiences from our side with regards to this excellent rifle.
