Ulticlip XL very difficult to open

I really like the Ulticlip concept but I am having a very difficult time opening the XL model. Edges very sharp and not a lot of area to grasp to open.. I have open and closed it 20-30 times hoping it would loosen up but to no avail. I have emailed Ulticlip and awaiting a reply.. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Mean while my fingers are sore!!

I watched the video but it's made by Ulticlip company. Did look at several reviews with similar issues. I'll await to see if Ulticlip responds to my email. Also my go to my local armory to see what ideas they have. I hate to not use the clip as the retention is great just a bear to take off . Thanks for offering your advice..

I talked with Ulticlip and they understand there are concerns about the stiffness. They did say that over time the lite protective coating will wear off which will loosen it up. I did talk with an armorer about taking a small amount off the screw driver blade portion. Ulticlip said it should work and to let them know how it worked, I'll try it later this week. Time will tell...
