I am aging and the shear weight of this scope is killing me. I had the scope and Warne Rings removed from this rifle that my dad made in 1965-66. He made the stock for a Sako Action, Hart 22-250 Barrel with Timney trigger and the gun now dons a much lighter 4-24x50 Vortex.
The Unertl I would like to sell is a 12X calibrated Ultra_Varment. I also have dad's shooting box (old school) with the scope mounted in the lid....Heavy.
Unertl installed new ultra fine crosshairs about 15 years ago. Scope is very nice, and very sharp. Be aware the field-of-view is quite narrow.
My photo is incorrect as I listed it as 16X magnification....it is 12X.
