Did anyone just see the end of the Miss Universe pageant?

Steve Harvey announced Miss Columbia as the winner, and she accepted the crown and bouquet. The young lady took a victory lap as everyone clapped, and the credits were about to roll.

Mr. Harvey stopped the proceedings and announced that there had been a error, and Miss Philippines was actually the winner.

There was much awkwardness as the crown was swapped right before the fade to black and local news.

My lovely wife and I were watching it. What a terrible feeling Steve Harvey must have and much worse, Miss Columbia who, for two minutes, thought she was the winner only to have it taken away. We all make mistakes but usually not on television with millions watching around the world.

The man that used to host the Miss America Pageant decades ago was clearly skunk drunk when he did the show. It sounds like this Mr. Harvey is a chip off the old block. That has to be one of the most spectacular foul ups in the history of pageants. Let us hope he gets canned at the very least, so he can go back to playing records at some country roller skating rink for a living.

I won't fault anyone on this one. Just outside the place someone plowed through the crowd with a car leaving nearly 40 injured.
While the show must go on, I don't imagine it did without a mass casualty incident weighing on minds

Now that I know who he is? (family feud host) I don't think he's suitable in front of the camera unlike Richard Dawson was.
