Unusual Markings on a M581

Need help identifying unusual markings on a 1980's era S&W Model 581. Located on the underside of the barrel is what appears to be "wisch" followed by a "flaming bomb" with a scripted capital L located in the circle portion of the flaming bomb. Too small to post pics. This revolver purported spent time in Germany. Any idea what we have here? Many thanks...

More then likely they are import marks from its time in Germany. If you post some pics that will help.
