So I posted about B-C Synthetic Gun Oil a few months ago and since I have been using the product for a several months now I am even more impressed with it's lubricative properties and figured I'd do an update post.

The lubricity of this product is nothing short of fantastic! I have been using it on 1911 slides and all moving parts, CZ Rifle bolts and trigger groups, Smith Revolvers and my Smith M41. I must say its slicker than pig snot! Just did a rebuild of internal parts on a M36 two days ago and after fitting parts I used the B-C Syn Oil and it feels like a custom action job - even though I did NOT replace the main spring!

I have also been using it around the house on door hinges, sliding doors and everywhere else that normally needs lubricating and this stuff is the best lubricant I have found to date! I have even found it better than TS Moly 70% (which is good but IMHO not worth the terrible mess and staining it leaves behind) and it costs only $4.50 for a 4.5 ounce spout can. It also seems to stay where you put it - unlike many other lubricants and is 100% clear in color.

I have not had it long enough to test its rust preventative properties yet, (it does states on the label it is a lube, cleaner & rust inhibitor) and while it does clean OK there are better solvents out there, but for lubrication I've yet to see a better product! Just giving you guys the heads up if you are in the market for a superior lubricant. ;)

After another week and using it on more firearms - I'm STILL very impressed with this stuff as a lubricant! You guys should give it a whirl!

I intend to try it.
As most shooters do, I have enough firearms lube of various brands to never run out for several lifetimes but I'm always in search of a better product.
Thanks for sharing.

One day I will post a picture of my lubricant and solvent cabinet - I ran out of room! I have actually started to give some stuff that I never use away. Just gave away a few cans of Tri-flow and Liquid Wrench this week.
