An attack on our LEO's is an attack on our very way of life. Without respect for the law our country will spiral downward and our quality of life will disappear. We good citizens need to fight right alongside of our officers for stiffer penalties for assaulting an LEO and for incarceration not parole or probation for violent offenders. My guess is the suspect will not be a stranger to the criminal justice system. But instead of blaming this cowardly criminal, lawful gun owners will get the blame and New Jersey will push for more "gun control." I bleed blue and my thoughts are with this officer and his or her family and friends.
