Upgrade trigger for a S&W M&P 15-22P handgun

Will this AR-15 replacement trigger work in a S&W M&P 15-22P handgun? Other choices??? Thanks...

It should work fine. I just put a Geissele SSA-E in my 15-22P and a CMC 3.5 pound trigger in my 15-22 rifle. Both triggers went in the lowers without any problem. Keep in mind that the AR is a narrower receiver and that pins designed for the AR will not be quite wide enough for the 15-22. If the POF trigger uses pins held by screws on the ends like the CMC does, you might want to order a set of KNS antirotation pins for your 15-22P. I have them on both my rifle and pistol.
