I just bought an Upula universal magazine speed loader and it works great for loading my M&P9C magazines. However, it is supposed to unload ammo also, but I cannot figure out how that works. The instructions are worse than nothing. Anyone know how that works. Not that I would use that much, if at all, but I would like to at least know how it works.

Actually, I've never heard it could be used to unload ammo also. When you find the correct answer please share and let us know.

A sticker on the packaging said "New unloader feature" and there is a diagram for that but it is completely incomprehensible. Tech support does not understand or write English, so were of no use. I guess I'll have to go to the range to unload the magazine. Don't need your help for that

My Universal UpLula is an older one and doesn't have the unloading feature, but my Baby UpLula does.
Basically, it is a simply protrusion on the back side of the loader near the spring and pivot.
It works by placing a loaded magazine against the backside of the loader and then move the magazine up or the loader down, or both.
The protrusion strips the top round out of the magazine, just like your thumb would, except it takes both hands to do it instead of just one.
Bottom line: More of an advertising gimmick than anything useful.
FWIW - The Baby UpLula is great for loading mousegun single stack mags.
