I hear ya, I got out of active duty and went reserves for 3 years. When I decided to go back into active I burnt a bridge at work then the doc at the re-enlistment physical got bent outta shape from using pain killers.

I was a bit scared for a while. Now I always try to keep from burning bridges. I had to wait a month and go back, then the corpsman gave me more. I hardly ever take anything anymore.
