Freedom Munitions has just announced, American Steel - US Made, Brass Plated Steel Cased Ammunition.
Steel case, Brass plated and I imagine Non-Reloadable.
There will be a lot of unhappy range owner's with this release! Just think of all the steel cases picked-up and thrown in with the brass empty's.

Oh the horror. Those poor ranged can't resell what I bought! On a serious note I'm glad the ranges around me don't care what you shoot

Run a big magnet over it and problem solved! I don't really feel much concern for ranges that sell the recovered brass, there only expense now is sweeping it up (and, maybe, checking for unfired rounds). Plated or not a magnet will pick out the steel ones!

Unless it's SUBSTANTIALLY less expensive than standard Brass, I don't really see the point. Even for the shooters who do not reload - they could easily sell their once fired Brass and more than likely come out ahead. These days I do not know too many guys who shoot on any regular basis and don't reload. Even if one is rich and money is no object...... getting exactly what you want is a p.i.t.a. Seems that no two LGS have the same stock, brands and sku #'s.
