Looking for a little help here. What are the original "Bloodwork" guns selling for now? I have a friend of a friend who has been hounding me about selling mine. I have some other projects that need funding and may actually give in if the price is right. Problem is I haven't seen one sell in a while and don't know what to even tell him what I would want for it. I know awhile back they were up over $2000, are they still pulling in that kind of money? Mine has about 500-600 rounds fired through it, but, I still have everything it originally came with. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks

I think the $2000 guns were being bought and sold before the new variety with the IL was released two or three years ago by the Performance Center. Availability of the new model has probably taken some of the scarcity premium out of the original guns, but they still have collector appeal as a limited edition.

I have not seen a sale of one of the original guns recently, but I would guess that they would still bring at least $1400-1500. Not that my opinion is any yardstick for the market, but I would become a hesitant buyer above that level. But then I am not really in the market because I have a couple of the new ones, which I dearly love.

Street price on the new ones is about a grand, so a buyer at the level I suggested would be paying a 40-50% premium for an original.

Thanks guys, that helps. I checked out Gunbroker and seen that one sold back in December for $1850.
