My son has a Model 19-5 in nickle with the 2 3/4 inch barrel. He wants to sell it.
I originally had it and sold it to him for $400 a few years ago.
I see the value of these has gone up. This is without the box and is basically a shooter and not a safe queen. What would be an approximate value?

$600 in my neck of the woods. Saw a nice one like that a couple weeks ago. They had it priced $675. 19-4 I believe though.

I know you stated 2 3/4" barrel...you probably mean a 2 1/2", which would be the actual length and most common size not a 2 3/4". But, there were a few special 3" barrels out there. Just be sure, that would be great and rare. Measure from the end of the forcing cone to the tip of the barrel. That would give you the correct barrel length.

For a nice clean 19-5 Nickel 2 1/2", I'd pay as much as 650 with Red ramp and white outline sights, especially if it were a pre -5, pinned and recessed. And... not scratched up. Nickle can clean up beautifully if not scratched.

Pictures are always more fun...

Take care, Stu
