Variants? How to find what's what

Hello all,

this forum's sub-title is "All Variants" - and that is my question. I have been looking at the S&W web site to gather info on the M&P9 and I have decided that the S&W web site designer is perhaps secretly employed by some other gun maker to ensure maximum confusion of customers.

The S&W site (smith-wesson.com) does not include details on internal locks, magazine disconnects, etc. At least, I cannot find such info. The "Compare" feature is not too informative.

So, does anyone have a list of SKU numbers and the features attached to each for the multiple variations of the M&P9? If it makes a difference, I'm looking at the full size 9mm, don't want a thumb safety, don't want a magazine disconnect, and don't want an internal lock. Beyond that, I'm not sure just what IS available.

you want a 209301. Thats a 17 rnd 9mm without the lock mag disc, and thumb safety.

I think you can find the right one from there.
