Went to a show at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway put on by the Crossroads of the West. It was packed! Not sure if this venue is a go in warmer weather as I don't recall seeing a HVAC system, but I might be wrong.
There were a few older guns about.
Model 52, $900
Highway Patrolman, $1100
I saw a few M&P semis new at about $450.
LOTS of AR type rifles, shotguns, uppers and other parts for sale. Uppers came in every different color your could imagine.
Prices on new guns went from fairly competitive with the Internet (taking into account shipping and transfer fees) to WTH are they thinking. $839 for a WASR-10 AK? I don't think so! Mind you, a good number of vendors were not displaying prices, so my wife and I gave suitable body language to those tables.
Saw more milsurp rifles than I expected, but some of the pricing was "adventurous" to say the least. Gun case, holster and backpacks were there a plenty, as well as magazines at reasonable prices.
Ammo went from "highly amusing" ($40/20 30-30) to competitive with the Internet. S&B 9mm FMJ was $249/1000, which is $269 including our tax. That's what I paid for the same ammo last Thanksgiving shipped.
The FFL table was busy. Lots of Glocks, Walthers, and Sigs were being sold, apparently. The 5" Walther PDP looked tempting, but I've other places for my money to go coming up.
