I had a range session yesterday among other things trying out my latest handloads for my Winchester Model 70 in .375 H&H. I actually got some decent groiups including one 3 round group that came in at 3/4". The load was a 300gr. Barnes TSX bullet, max charge Reloader 15 per the Barnes manual, a Federal large rifle magnum primer in a Federal case.

Previously I'd been able to get 1.5-2" groups with the Federal factory loads. My first attempt at handloads yielded groups that were 1.5" high by 6" across. That was using H4895 and Hornady 300gr spire points. Second attempt was using Reload 15 and the Hornady bullets yielded 2" groups.

So to say I'm happy with it today would be an understatement. I've officially decalred load development over and will be buying more Barnes 300gr bullets and more Reloader 15 (if I can find it!)

Yup!
Kinda pointless to keep looking after that!
On things sure, you've got all the rifle you'll ever need!

It sounds like you found a good load. Congrats.
My 375H&H isn't shooting well, it might be the loads but with my luck it needs some bedding work.

Hey, if y'all need any more projectiles e-mail me. I think I still have a few boxes of 300gn Solids left. Hornady I think, red box. Might even have some brass if I look. Obviously you don't need dies though.

I sold my 375 a few years ago.

And, the TSX is a tough slug that will do whatever you want it to. Don
