I have decided I want to get a Victory. I have been searching for holster options and I am not having much luck. Does anybody know of any holsters for it yet? I prefer one that can be used with an optic. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat and did some research on this last night. For the most part, you can find many generic new and used holsters out there that will do the job as well as some that are specific to the Ruger MKs. So far it seems that the only SW22 specific holster is the Triple K.. I like this but like my mag on my weak hand side.

The generic Uncle Mike's holster
is supposed to work well and a bargain at $12.34

I think you'd have good luck if you purchased any of the Ruger MKIII holster as well.

Just and update... I went to my LGS for some ammo and had seen a holster that looked like it might fit. They had a SW22 on display so I asked if they could give it a try. Fit like a glove. You can get it direct from Hunter Company.

I figured I could find a generic holster that would work but I want to run a red dot sight. I have a Black Max kydex holster for my Ruger Mark III's that is made for an optic. I love it and I might take it to my dealer and see if the Victory fits or if the holster can be modified to fit. They are only $30 so I wouldn't mind modifying one. The Triple K is ok but won't work with an optic and I don't like a mag holder on a holster. I'm sure eventually there will be plenty of holsters to choose from but I will have to make one work for now.

Best of luck. Post your findings back here. I'd seen another leather holster for a Ruger with optics but it had that stupid mag holder too and a Ruger logo.

Check out the other S&W forum.. Recent thread on a nylon modified holster

I tried that holster and it's a poor fit. The Victory is "taller" at the trigger guard. You can see in the picture below that the trigger guard is outside the holster. You really need to loosen up the screw closest to the trigger guard to get the pistol into the holster, but then retention becomes an issue. You probably could improve the fit with a dremel. But, I decided to return it and wait for Black Dog to make one for the Victory. In the mean time, I have ordered an Uncle Mike's Sidekick Hip Holster (5½", #6) for the Victory. I plan on modifying it to allow for the Burris FF3 I have mounted on my Victory.

That should work. You might have the white stuffing showing after you slice it up but you could bring it to a taylor and have it sewn shut.

Here's the Victory in an Uncle Mike's Sidekick Hip Holster (#6). I cut out a relief for the Burris FastFire III with a box cutter. The "stuffing" is actually a high density polyurethane foam. After cutting, I used a lighter to melt the cut ends of the nylon threads. Since I spent $14 on the holster and will only be using it plinking in the woods, I'm not going to bother finishing the cut edges. BTW, there's enough room in the end of the holster (~1½") for a compensator.

There ya go. Well done. I put 300 rounds through my Victory tonight on plates with iron sights. I still haven't seen any issues with the take down screw and have taken it down three times now for clean. Mine is a recent build bought in April so perhaps they've made a change? I just LOVE this gun! It's eaten up everything but Browning BPR. This is trash ammo.

Do you have a compensator on the gun in the Uncle Mikes holster?

If I decide I like the Victory it'll probably get the Triple K. Otherwise the Uncle Mikes.

If you are using your SW22 for field use as I am the military M7 shoulder/chest holster is a perfect fit. My Victory has a Burris FF2 mounted on the MaddMax mount. I don't think it will work with a larger sight or one mounted on the picatinny mount. I will post pictures later today.
