I have a Victory Lend Lease that was allegedly issued to the New Zealand military.

The serial number is V130513, with NZ^ 7813 markings at the top of the back strap and the 'flaming grenade' on the base of the grip.

Can anyone verify if this is correct and supply any further information?

Yes, you are correct. The gun shipped in fall of 1942. The NZ with broad arrow is the New Zealand property mark. Charles Pate suspects the number to be a rack number, but there seems to be no more definite information about that.

In contrast to earlier South African and Canadian contracts of this model, which were separate from lend-lease and recorded separately, you won't be able to find out much more from this end, as the lend-lease guns all shipped to Hartford Ordnance depot and were only later distributed to different destinations among British and Commonwealth countries.

You don't mention any other markings. Is the UNITED STATES PROPERTY stamp on the topstrap still present?

Thanks for the information, and yes it does have UNITED STATES PROPERTY stamp on the top strap
