Walnut grips,unnumbered.No import marks
38 S&W cal.No flaming bomb.1944 shoulder holster
When was it made?He is asking $350.
Has a lanyard ring.

See my posting on the 1945 & later forum, Are you sure about the caliber being .38 S&W? All the rest of your description points to a .38 S&W Special caliber gun, as a 4 in. bbl would not be a .38 S&W caliber gun for a Victory model. $350 is in the ball park if the gun is mechanically OK and has not been altered. Ed
 
4in brl. 38 S&W special it is upon making a call,
No military proofs or such on it.Timings good, locks up tight.No crane movement.Looks to be safe to shoot.I,m buying it.

From the Victory Database we can estimate that this revolver was likely shipped from the factory in the November-December, 1944 time frame.

Are the stocks the smooth walnut variety?
