Dear forum friends and Gunleather enthusiasts , this night I set the alarm for 4 (The jet lag, due to the time difference between Italy and the USA) to participate in an auction to try to buy this beautiful Clark holster, I am currently on holiday in Sicily and just this night there was a server malfunction and I was unable to participate to the auction. I'm really sorry, I loved this holster. Do any of you have one?
What did you lose or were you unable to buy that is still your regret? Always meant as Gunleathers

Clark Saddlery Company - John Clark
Birth place or City of origin: Portland
State of origin: OR
Last known City: Portland
Last known State: OR
Start/Birth date: 1870
Death/End date:
John Clark started his historic Portland, Oregon, saddlery in 1870 and it continued to operate in competition with Hamley and George Lawrence through the 1920s.

Established in 1870, the John Clark Saddlery Co were manufacturers of an extensive line of harness and complete saddlery supplies. They were located at 104-106 Front Street in Portland. Their catalog No. 9 (c. 1914) numbered over 470 pages and included impressive full page photos of their pictorial 1913 War Bonnet Roundup (Idaho Falls, Idaho) Prize presentation saddle as well as their Frontier Days Roundup (Walla Walla, Wash) Prize saddle. They were well know as manufacturers of an extensive variety of leather and woolly chaps and even printed a separate bulletin to highlight new models many of which were ornately studded or two-tone angoras. Clark also made cinchas, scabbards, gun rigs, holsters, saddle and pommel bags, lather cuffs, spur leathers, reatas, Buermann bits and spurs

Solved long ago, with auctionsniper that uses your eBay login to bid for you "while you are sleeping'. I've won many things this way, you're not the only one in a different time zone :-). The trick is to be brave enough to bid so high that no likely third party will outbid you.

The Portland Clark company is little known in holstory. Thanks for the company info! I've kept images of its snap in the past and I've nearly all such snaps by the various makers.
