Vintage of this gun ??

I have a chance to buy a Pre Model 17 K22 and I was wondering if anyone could please give me some information about its lineage?

Serial # K 2660XX

I would appreciate any info you can give me about year of manufacture? Pre or post war? And perhaps some idea of its value in good condition.

1956. Good condition? Not enough details. I'd guess $400-$600 depending.

The K prefix makes it a post war K frame with adjustable sights.

A decent but not spectacular K22 will usually bring $400-$500.
