I had forgotten about this thread, glad to see it resurface. One thing nice about getting old is that if you haven't seen something in a while it is like looking at it for the first time.

Speaking of old.............here is a 1914 US Springfield Armory 1911 with a 1918 dated holster.

It was caught while fishing in Big Bear Lake in California in 1962. It still had a fully loaded magazine and except for the barrel, trigger, springs, grips and safety, it is all original. While the outside is rather rusty, the inside has no pitting at all.

My '08 Pocket Hammerless .380 and a Ted Blocker IWB. This gets carried occasionally.
The Elgin started life as a Ladies brooch-style hunter cased watch in 1912. Runs great, but I never wear it to work. It's a weekender only.

This thread needs to come back up,........

............thanks to Greg for linking it in another thread.

Not really old Iron but it is getting there. Thanks to one of the great Forum members for allowing me to be the temporary caretaker of one of Tio Sam's leather masterpieces.

The BHP decided one hot afternoon back in the late 70s to switch from the bad guys side to the side of Law & Order, with a little persuasion from a Model 66.:)
