Don't get me wrong, I'll always prefer beautiful wooden stocks for revolvers, but I liked the VZ grips for semiautos and was curious about their revolver grips so I ordered a couple pairs. I have to admit that I like them for a carry gun. Here they are on a square butt L-frame 686 and a round butt N-frame 327 Nightguard. At least they look better than rubber!

I've shot with both and they are comfortable and fit my medium hand well. Anyone else have opinions or photos?

I like them. I ordered a pair for my 4 inch 686 which is my range use/desk gun and I really got used to their feel. My Ahrends stayed off and I'm considering a pair for my 625.

I just wish they made a finger grove less round butt to square butt conversion. That would be awesome!

I have several pairs on autos.........

BCD could you post a picture of the bottom so we could get an idea of the thickness/shape.......

Are they flared like factory target stocks?

Looks like they extend about 1/4 inch below the grip frame?

On my 329ng the grips are fingergroove that cover the back strap rubber . it Makes the grip a little too big for my hands . Are the vzs smaller to accommodate my size hands?

I was hoping John at VZ would add finger grooves to the square butt K&L grips.

I was very happy to find out VZ came to their senses to make S&W K/L framed grips. I have two sets on semi-autos and love the look and feel of them. They had a sale over the July 4th weekend so I decided to take advantage and give them a try. I bought a set of the tactical diamonds for my round butt 64-2. I've had one range day with them and I like them a lot. I might have to get another set for my 586 now.

Wow, glad I ran across this post. Reminded me that VZ is not just for my 1911's! Been looking for an alternative to my Hogues on my 629-4 and 29-5. They have the same profile to each other and I think I'll try a set myself. OP and others, the Revos look great!

All of my revolvers were wearing Ahrends grips.

After seeing the VZ K-frame grips, I decided to give them a try. I have them on my 4" 66-6 that's set-up for IDPA SSR. I was thinking they'd be more durable in match conditions than wood.

I wasn't sure I liked them at first. They are slimmer and shorter front to back than the Ahrends grips. But, I have to admit they're growing on me...

They make a great product! I have them on my CZ75B and my compact CZ75 pcr. I might consider them for a revolver now!

How aggressive is the checkering? These may work nicely on my 686+ 3"!

I'm glad to read I'm not the only one that finds these grips a bit small. If you have big mitts you might not like these. I like them well enough but mine required a bit of easy fitting in the back. They extended just beyond the grip frame enough with a sharp edge I thought for sure they would slice my hand open. Easy fix though. And the checkering is super aggressive. I may end up sanding the points off just a bit. A sweaty hand on a long range session might see your skin parting your body.

I had a pair on my 625 and they looked great and they were comfortable when shooting. I have rather large hands and they didn't fill my hand as well as Pachmyar Decelerators so I went back to the Pachmyars and sold them. Beautiful grips though.

Thanks! Thinking about these for my 3" 686+, debating between 320s and checkered.

Yeah...I went back and forth. I wish I could have tried them both before buying.

I ended up getting the 320's. My one set is on a 4" 66-6 intended for IDPA matches.

I wasn't sure I wanted a real aggressive grip. The 320's aren't as smooth as my various Arhends wood grips but they aren't 'grippy' either.
