I've been reading this forum for only a few months now but I have notice some commonalities

1st - Bring back the K frame .357
2nd - Ditch the IL

Interestingly, most everyone knows that IL stands for internal lock. That should tell you something. They are so repulsive, they even have their own shorthand. LOL

Agreed.

The K-frame Magnums should never have been dropped.

The internal locks are an abomination and need to be deleted from the guns.

If they do that (plus come out with a nice 658 3-inch in .41 Magnum) I'll go back to buying S&W.

The lock is a sign of the litigious & political times we now live. With the anti gun Dems holding power in the Senate & House I know the locks are here to stay. After all 'they' know whats best for us.

What I would like to see good engineers at S&W do, place the lock=(hole) under the grip or in the base of the butt where it will not be as visually offensive.
