We are fortunate to have the largest pleasure horse and carriage show in the world nearby. It is all about the horses, carriages and the drivers and passengers. They had their annual parade of carriages before the final judging. It was amazing as usual.:)

I took a ton of pictures but can only post 5 thumbnails at a time so I will be making several posts. Most are during the parade the last few are at the judging.

Please enjoy!:)

Lots of Lady Drivers, I wonder who harnesses the teams?

My Mother complained to me that she couldn't take the buggy to town shopping without one of my Uncles along because she couldn't handle the team's harness and move the buggy around. Mom was not a small Lady either.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

When my wife gets back I'll see if she can find a video of the horse parade in her Dad's town in Germany.

Thanks for sharing! That would be cool to see. Out here we get the Western States Horse Expo that a friend and I go to every year. Always great for getting photos! Thought about posting some of the last time out but haven't done it yet. One of the demos we always have to see is the draft horses. Definitely a thrill when a driver releases the power of a team of 4 Clydes or Percherons!

Absolutely stunning I enjoyed each and every photo. Thank you very much for sharing . By the way excellent photographic technique. You make me want to get out and put my D-800 to work.

Very nice set up kimporter.

There were upwards of 70 carriages from around the world in attendance. A bunch were minis. They're always a crowd favorite.

Kozmic; Where is that show? I still have family around the Canandaigua, Victor area. I'd like to plan my next visit around this event if its relatively close. Great pictures!

Nevermind, I looked it up and found out it's in Pittsford. That's close enough for a visit next time I'm there, if I can time it right...

Awesome, when our fuels run dry we will be riding and driving horses again. The streets will be knee deep in you know what.
