My sister and her husband built an architect-designed home in Albuquerque in the high foothills of Sandia Peak in the early 2000s. The producers of Breaking Bad approached them about using it in the series, although (obviously) not as Walter White's house. Even though the producers offered a handsome payment and promised to fix any damage they caused during filming , sis and BIL ultimately decided not to do it. I wonder whose house in the series it would have belonged to. Probably some wealthy bad guy. Here's a photo of the house under construction. Sis swsig and BIL no longer live there.

So, I get to pay 10 times the going rate for a house, just so I can wake up to idio..... I mean "film buffs" standing on my lawn taking selfies? No thank you. I'd rather have Sonny Crockett's boat. At least I could sail away from people.
