Hi Guys,

I just bought my first AR. I am left handed & was wondering if the thumb safety on my Sport can be reversed to the other side instead of having to buy a double level to replace the single?

Thanks,

You'll need to replace it. Although you might be able to swap side, at best, it would opposite the way it does now, safe would be pointing to the rear, handle forward, fire may or may not be pointing up still.

My wife is a lefty and would love it if I would buy an ambi...are they hard to install?

You have to send your rifle off to....

Oh no mind, no they aren't very hard to install. If you can tilt your upper, and remove the grip, you 'might' be able to install one Grover;)

No, not at all. I'm ambidextious and I did mine in a minute or two.

Sounds about right. I watched that video from the link above and wanted to take the lower away from the dude because he made it much more difficult than it needed to be.

Centurion, I really dont believe that you do. I believe that the gentleman in the video was making it way harder than it needs to be although I have taken mine out to polish it up and it is not hard at all.

It's not hard to replace. Once you do it, you'll be that much more familiar with the way your rifle works. :) You can find instructions all over the place.
