I am looking for your really ugly 69xx or 59xx Smith and Wesson handgun, preferably a 5906/5904 or 6906/6904, but will consider others. I am talking about your really ugly/beat up gun, like the one you dropped on the pavement, multiple times, or your friend drug behind your truck, or the one that's sat in the bottom of your tacklebox for twenty years. Preferably one in semi-decent mechanical shape, but I am willing to evaluate anything that comes across my lap, broken or not.
I am looking for a complete gun (so no frames or slides only), but the gun will be used as the basis for a full custom 3rd gen project. As such as long as the gun is mechanically complete and not completely rattled to bits I am interested.
What I am not interested in: Your pristine 3rd gen S&Ws. This gun is getting cutup and a new lease on life I don't want to ruin a perfectly good specimen to do it.
So, please PM me what you have. Remember, I want the gun that only a 3rd Gen S&W lover would buy, not one you would sell to someone to impress them!
