Not a real big fan of 'Robert Zimmerman' but I'll listen to JC all day long!

Is it rolling Bob?
Bob never liked interviews.
Same questions over and over.
So once he told the interviewer that he was from Gallup, NM.

I’ve listened to that song for over 50 years and always thought it was about an outlaw. It wasn’t until I got apple play and could see the lyrics that I realized he was on the run from women.
I still think Garth Brooks likes sausage gravy in low places.

I think he's both, an outlaw and a womanizer. One of the lyrics, he can't recall why he is wanted at "someplace in between" a coupla towns. I think that's not a woman.

The women looking for him call to mind stories, true, I think, of railroad men who had multiple wives and families, as their jobs required travel.

I'd venture that while when young multiple wives and families might be enjoyable, with age it would likely be stressful.

Actually, I'd venture it'd be pretty stressful when young.

For the adventurous, I think the occasional floozie similarly inclined individual of the female persusion would be the way to go.

(Hey, just sayin'!)
