Just picked this up from my LGS.
Found it in Texas while out for my best friends wedding.
Nickel '56 vintage, I believe, 3 1/2" pre 27 357 Magnum.
It needs some care, but looks like it has some stories to tell.
About the only way I ever find anything is when I'm not looking for it and / or don't need it.
I think it looks good as is. Love the stags, especially sans S&W inserts. I've been thinking that if they are not factory stocks, why put S&W medallions on them? Most here seem to think otherwise. Yours have a genuine, uncluttered look.
I am such a big fan of old war horses like that!
That gun ain’t as pretty as a safe queen, but it has life experience, out and about in the world, not sitting under lock tucked away. Character!
I would like to spend an afternoon listening to it's stories, after a morning at the range together. Beautiful gun, could you share the approximate cost? Thanks
