Did anyone else see Our NRA leader on Face the Nation this morning being interviewed by David Gregory? I think he did a fantastic job, and even my wife commented "He's right" when he got in about why the News Media didn't make a big deal about why Chicago has the worst crime and gun violence, and the worst record for enforcing the existing gun laws. He also made a great point about getting the mentally challenged listed to be able to be identified by background checks. He successfully handled the continued push's for why the "Assault Weapons" shouldn't be banned.

All I can hope for is that those who represent gun owners do a good job, and don't front with lies the way the anti-gun crowd represents itself.

It's all I can hope for.

Yep

Howdy,
I'm glad to have him representing us.
He did well at CPAC too.
I received an E-mail asking if I knew anyone worthy of consideration for the president's (Yep,that president) "Citizen's Medal."
I filled it all out and nominated Wayne Lapierre. I asked that my nomination be taken serious. I stated he was more deserving for consideration than all than animal shelter owners and kids team coaches that would be nominated. I asked that who ever reviews the nominations ask themselves if a man like Lapierre, with his dedication and all he has done for Americans in defense of our constitutional rights deserves to be overlooked because of political bias.
I think anyone can make a nomination.
Anyone else interested in a little harassing fire can nominate at

I bet he won't get it.
Thanks
Mike

Unfortunately I only caught the last, but that was good enough. He is right when he talked about Chicago. I have long professed that same thing for years. If they would just put to use existing laws we would be a better country.
