Thanks to everyone who entered...hope it was fun for you.

I will be doing another Kowboy Karma soon...and it will be bigger and better than this one. Here are just a few hints about some of the films that will be included...

Edit: Please note...Forum members need enter only once to be included in this Karma.

Also, members can enter for themselves only. Do not enter for someone else. Tell your friends about it if you wish, and if they want to enter, they'll have plenty of time to enter for themselves.

So...this one's for all the pre-sixties television buckaroos like me, people who enjoy black and white television and well-told stories.

In 1957, a new western series made its debut on television. It was called Have Gun - Will Travel, and as we all know, it starred Richard Boone.

So...this Karma is for the complete First Season. Six DVDs in their original format.

The set also features production notes and behind the scenes photos.

Viewers will recognize many other well known actors who appear in guest roles.

If you want in on this Karma, say so in this thread.

This Karma will end at midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, October 15. Winner will be announced the following day.

Yippee-ki-yay...

Please put me in also. By the way, Richard Boone was pretty good in one of my favorite movies — named Hombre — starring Paul Newman.

I'm in as well. Thanks. MeTV airs "Have Gun Will Travel" every Saturday morning, with Westerns all day. BTW: I just visited the "Center of the West Museum" in Cody, where they have Paladin's Colt and holster set on display, along with other handguns and rigs used by tv western heros, including Matt Dillon, Bat Masterson, The Lone Ranger, and the Cartwrights.

I knew one of those who wasn't deaf and had her own liquor store when I was a single cop in a small town.

She owned the first Buick Riviera in town. We had a lot of fun.
