Anyone have one of these shotguns? I got one back in October last year for my birthday. It has a jamming issue that I will post a video of. Not me or my shotgun in the video but same problem. I sent it in for service and the Smith looked at it twice and found nothing wrong with it. They don't actually make the shotgun it's made it turkey then stamped with the Weatherby name. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Not sure I want to seek it because it was a gift and had a very cool reaper stock on it.

Not sure that you want to seek suggestions? I don't know much about Weatherby shotguns but off the top of my head I can think of two possibilities...A) from the video it appears to be an issue with the shell elevator/lifter perhaps not raising the new shell high enough for the bolt to grab it correctly, or B) if shotgun is brand new, get out there and shoot the hell out of it and smooth out some of those rough edges and sticky parts. If you lean towards the latter, see how it does after a few hundred shells.

If all else fails, do you have a local gunsmith who could look it over?

Thanks for the reply. Once I get a little saved up I will probably take it to a local Smith and have them look at it.
