FWIW - I had my own forum years ago until bandwidth costs and admin time no longer made it worthwhile.

I never used the times I had to ban someone as an opportunity to assign myself cute nicknames to commemorate the event, however.

Thanks, guys- I do appreciate the reinforcement.

I probably should not bother to explain every step I take, but here ya go:
I have gotten to know some of the guys I had to ban pretty well, and know they have great senses of humor. The cute title was intended to inject a bit of levity into a distasteful week.
Big deal.
As it became time to put it behind us, I removed it.

We've had three months together, and everyone knows what is expected now. I realize everyone will not be completely happy all the time.
Sorry 'bout that.

Mr. Holder,
I respectfully disagree with your premise in its entirety. This was a very difficult decision for Lee. I know because I participated in the thread and thought he may have confused me with VA Beach Bum in his assignments. I wrote to him to make sure he didn't have the wrong person. His reply discussing the criteria and difficulty for his decision left me with the sincere belief that he was a true gentleman in his actions and that it was a difficult task to do to many popular members on a forum that we all enjoy and many of us would miss if it was not there. It's not a display of power, it's a responsibility to us all. The humorous approach in the aftermath seemed appropriate, and now it's time to move on. The Lounge is a little different than other sections of the site, certainly a place where those here with wit should feel free to express it, within the bounds of the contract.

The humorous temporary title displayed that wit, in context with the responsibility ...
