Stopped by yesterday about 1230 and walked through for about 2 hours, didn't see anything that really sent my heart into a tizzy, saw a 649 for 795 and thought wow that will be here a long time.

Lots of new guns and ARs and AKS some S&Ws but few and far between, saw a nice S&W 30-1 it was still with the dealer when I left a flat latch 37 in decent shape. a few pre war N frame guns A heavy duty and a 2nd model a lot of overpriced K frames I don't think I have seen some many 7 to 800 dollar model 19s in a long time.

Bought a bumper sticker and went home. Did see a nice model 38 for 400 and will call the guy tomorrow.

What show was out there?I didn`t know they had one this weekend. There is one the 24th At South Hills Golf course I`m hoping to go to.

It was a small Bob and Rocco show, the south hills one is small but sometimes has good stuff, there is one in Fond du Lac this coming weekend. I won't be able to make it but it sometimes is a better show.

Central Wisconsin Gun Collectors show at Fond du Lac this weekend is the biggest Wisconsin show I have been to. The last few I have been to have been disappointing. To many dealers. I look for old S&W, Ruger 3 screws and M1 Garands and haven't been having any luck . Everything is overpriced for the quality. I have been looking at one gun at shows for a year now from Fond du Lac and Oshkosh. The dealer won't budge on the price. Just keeps dragging it from show to show tormenting me ! Still I'm looking forward to Saturday morning. The best 2 shows are still Gun Broker
and Guns America. Just don't go on line if you been drinking. Don't ask me how I know that. Has to do with the three K22 5 screws I have.

The small, hole in the wall shows, is where I find my best deals. The bigger the show, the higher the prices.

It's worked out well with my new sickness, collecting S&W's.

Most of the Bob and Rocco shows have the same sellers at them I just go for something to do.Haven`t bought much at them just go to look around.

I agree with you same guys , same guns higher prices. Went Saturday because I had to go into the prison and stopped by the show. Saw some S&W 67 and a nice 31-2 I think in 32 S&W. I nice model 38 and 37 but mostly they were way to high.

I did talk to the open carry people at thier booth, and bought a bumper sticker. My friend John won't be going to the Fond du Lac show his wife is ill.

I will save my money and buy something really nice in November or December. I actually saw a used 686 for sale at a decent price it was on a dealer from Menomonee Falls a pretty decent guy. I bought a nice 649 from him at Waukesha last year for 350.
