Went to Whittaker Guns Today.

Me and the wife took a 2 hr drive to Whittaker Gun store out side of Owensboro Ky today. I have heard of the place for years but finally had time to make the trip. Kinda hard to find, pretty much out in the country. Placed was packed for a week day morning. Had the most rifles and shotguns that I had ever see in one place. Says their the largest gun store in Kentucky ,with over 6000 guns, I believe them. Didn't look that big on the outside , but once inside you see that they just have "guns" . No boots, no cloths just guns. Bought a nice like new camo 10ga H&R Turkey gun for $149. Handgun selection seemed very small compaired to the rifles and shotguns, however prices were good compared to back home. I will be back after Christmas.

I just made my first trip there a couple months back. They had an amazing selection of long guns at what seemed to me very reasonable prices. The handgun selection was much smaller than I was expecting, but still large and diverse compared to a lot of stores. Overall I enjoyed shopping there and plan on going back whenever I go to visit friends and relatives up that way.
