Greetings,

My question is a little off from specific S&W. I've been running into some smaller holsters designed for buscadero rigs. They look identical to a "standard" .45 SAA cowboy holster but are too small.

Since the holsters are coming in on .22 LR cartridge belts I have to assume they are intended to a .22 revolver.

I tried to access the SASS forum to post this question but you apparently have to be a member to join the forum. I figure they must have some sort of list for their Buckaroo division.

My question is...what revolvers are likely candidates in this situation? SAA clones that are a little smaller. I had a Bearcat as a kid and I suspect it would be too small.

Any assistance will be welcome.

An example, one for Colt by Wolfram for Colt's Scout that was a scaled down Single Action Army:
