We are having our small group over tomorrow night for an early St Patrick's day celebration.

We are having Oyster's Rockefeller, asparagus soup with Brie cheese, lamb shanks,
coarse grits with cheese, and a surprise dessert topped off with Irish coffee. There will be several courses of wine after cocktails.

The weather will be cool and rainy. A perfect day to cook in the garage kitchen with a good friend and some Charleston beer.

What are you planning?

Guinness -- liquid bread!

Corned beef & cabbage - same as last year, and year before that, and year before that, etc., etc..
All the kids love it & look forward to it.

No green beer - maybe some Baileys (already in the fridge) & coffee.

Potatoes and Kentucky Ale (yes I realize it's not in keeping with tradition but its better than guiness so I don't care

What do the Irish eat on St. Patricks Day???

I have a feeling it isn't corned beef and cabbage.
