The 15T and the 15TS are two different models, and always have been...
Barrel composition, twist rate, length are different. You can find all the differences between the two on the S&W web page... there is a feature to compare models.

Note on that TS that the comparison feature doesn't show... the barrel is 14.5" with a pinned flash hider to make it legal length. You may want to look at the "detail" page for more info.

Yeah, if I had to choose between these two, I'd pick the 15T.
